Shades of 1989... a one time member of the NZ branch of Solidarity in 1988/89, the above logo resonates with emotion. Polish Solidarity then was the cutting edge of the anti-Soviet resistance, and the movement that started in the Gdansk shipyard by Lech Walesa freed millions in Eastern Europe. I was very proud to support it.
The newly formed British Workers Union is fighting on behalf of workers threatened because of their allegiance to the British National Party. Sounds pretty reasonable... Doesn't The Universal Declaration of Human Rights say that everyone is entitled to freedom of belief ? Check the frightened response of the British
