The world needs heroes, and here's one...

... in an era of stifling political correctness the celebrity had better watch out for the blacklist of our age...and unlike the era of Senator McCarthy it's not leaning towards socialism that earns a place on it. Today's Hollywood star mustn't espouse conservative values or be sceptical about the political ambitions of the green church. The sports star too, must take great care not to offend the liberal elite. Hats off then to Andy Roddick...

Thanks, Micky, for saving me the trouble of posting on this, though I might yet do a short one linking here. Good on the Women's Tennis Federation too. The decision to bar Peer was more shameful given the Dubai Championships are, according to their own website, "under the patronage of H.H. Sheihk Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai".
